He was born in 1968 and grew up in Piraeus. He graduated from the 9th General Lyceum of Piraeus and studied at the Law Department of the Law School, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), graduating with the highest GPA in his graduation line.

He has a Master of Laws in Public International Law and also completed postgraduate studies with scholarship in Human Rights Law; specialization studies in History of Literature.

He has served as a research associate at the Department of International Studies of the NKUA Law School.

He carried out an internship at the Legal Directorate of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.

He is an attorney-at-law entitled to plead before the Supreme Court, heading a Law Office in Nikaia, Attica.

Since 1992 he is a Member of the Piraeus Bar Association, with constant participation in the Association Committees including the Editorial Committee of the law journal “Piraeus Case Law”. Engaged in tutoring Seminars to Piraeus Trainee Lawyers, in the fields of Civil Law and Civil Procedural Law, and in organizing regular blood donation events for the members of the Piraeus Bar Association. He has been elected Member of the Board of the Piraeus Bar Association for three consecutive terms (2008-2017), while from January 2022 he serves as President of the Piraeus Bar Association.

He has authored legal research papers and presented studies in international scientific conferences on State Succession issues in Public International Law, mainly regarding the cases of the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia dissolution, on issues of Human Rights Law, the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe and the case law of the Strasbourg Court of Human Rights.

He is the author of many legal articles and expert speaker in scientific conferences on Civil Law and Civil Liability Law in Traffic Accidents.

Polychronis (Chronis) Perivolaris, graduate of the Law School of Athens University, practices law since November 1995, being qualified before Greek Supreme Court. He was member of SARANTITIS Law firm for 12 years and left as Head of their Piraeus office and Partner. He also cooperated with NORTON ROSE-FULBRIGHT for two years. Following his family maritime tradition he established in 2008 his own office in Piraeus dealing with Maritime and Commercial law disputes and white collar crimes.

He is a Board member of the Hellenic Maritime Law Association since 2009, participated in Legal Committees of the Greek Ministry of Mercantile Marine and served as Legal Counsel of Deputy Minister of Mercantile Marine. He is a litigation Lawyer, having conducted trials before Greek and foreign Courts and has cooperated with shipping companies as in house lawyer.

He has published articles in various legal magazines and newspapers and has delivered speeches in legal seminars.

He is a board Member of Piraeus Bar Association and member of the editing committee of PIRAIKI NOMOLOGIA, a quarterly publication of Piraeus Bar, since 2004.

I was born in 1966 in Piraeus and my origins are from Chios. In 1978, I was admitted, after passing entrance exams, to the Ionideios Model School of Piraeus, from which I graduated in 1984. That same year, after successfully participating in the Panhellenic examinations, I was admitted to the Athens Law School, from which I graduated in 1989.

After completing my military service, I registered for my legal traineeship with the Piraeus Bar Association. Upon completing my traineeship, I became a member of the Bar in 1992 and immediately opened my own law office, practicing across the full spectrum of law (civil, criminal, administrative, commercial). As a young lawyer, I became involved in public affairs through the Union of Young Lawyers and Trainees of Piraeus, where I served as Vice President.

Since 2006, I have been a lawyer before the Supreme Court of Greece (Areios Pagos). Throughout my legal career, I have served as legal counsel for numerous companies and, for approximately five years, I was an associate lawyer for the Prefecture of Piraeus, handling various cases under the jurisdiction of the Council of State. I have been actively involved in the affairs of the Piraeus Bar Association since 2002, either by participating in various committees or by serving as a member of the Disciplinary Council. I have been continuously elected as a Member of the Bar Association Council since 2008. Following the most recent elections in 2021 and my election as a Council Member, the members of the Council elected me as Vice President of the Bar Association. I am also responsible for the Committee on Legislative Developments of the Piraeus Bar Association.

Additionally, I have been a speaker at legal conferences and seminars organized by the Piraeus Bar Association.

Panagiota Bourletidou was born in Athens, grew up and lives in Piraeus. She graduated from Ionidios Experimental School of Piraeus and from the Faculty of Law of Democritus University of Thrace.

She has been practicing law since 1995, and since 1998 she has maintained her own office in Piraeus. Her main area of expertise focuses on civil, commercial and banking law. She is external cooperator of the Bank Eurobank Ergasias S.A. and she was scientific associate of the University of Athens. She is Accredited Mediator of the Hellenic Ministry of Justice, and Adult Trainer of the program of the University of Athens.

Since 2014 she has been elected Member of the Administrative Council of Piraeus Bar Association and she is Director of the Piraeus Mediation Center (P.M.C.).

She speaks English and French.


Stylianos Fazakis was born in Athens in 1978 and has lived in Piraeus with his family, where he also grew up. He graduated from the Polykladiko High School of Piraeus and received his law degree from the Democritus University of Thrace in 2002. He also pursued postgraduate studies (M.A.) in Modern History at Panteion University.

He practiced law at the family law firm in Piraeus since 2004, following his legal traineeship. Since 2019, he has been a partner at the cooperative law firm AD LEGEM, based in Piraeus, focusing primarily on Corporate – Commercial Law and Public Procurement. He is an accredited Mediator by the Ministry of Justice.
He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Piraeus Bar Association since 2022 and currently serves as its Treasurer. He is also an alternate member of the Board of Directors of the Greek Legal Aid Fund (TAXDIK).

He speaks English and German.

Evangelos Anagnostou is a lawyer admitted before the Supreme Court of Greece (Areios Pagos), with continuous and active presence in the legal profession since 1993. He is also an accredited mediator registered with the Ministry of Justice. He holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Since 2004, he has been an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Piraeus Bar Association, having also served as Treasurer of the Board and as a member of the Disciplinary Council of the Association. From 1995 to 1997, he served as Vice President of the Board of Young and Trainee Lawyers of Piraeus. He has been actively involved as a rapporteur in various committees of the Piraeus Bar Association, as well as in training seminars organized by the Association. He has also participated, both as a regular and alternate member, in examination committees for trainee lawyers of the Piraeus Bar Association.

From February 26, 2010, to July 14, 2014, he served as a member and rapporteur of the Special Three-Member Committee under Article 152 of Law 3463/2006, a second-instance body responsible for reviewing decisions of local government authorities, examining appeals against decisions issued by the Secretary General of the Decentralized Administration.

Christos Iliadis was born in 1970 in Korydallos. He graduated from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) in 1993. He is a member of the Piraeus Bar Association and has been practicing law since 1995. Additionally, he was a speaker at a Piraeus Bar Association seminar in 2001 on the topic of “The International Insurance Bureau” related to traffic accidents. He served as a member of the Disciplinary Board of the Piraeus Bar Association from 2014 to 2017. From 2018 to 2021, he served as Secretary General of the Athens Bar Association, and since January 1, 2022, he has been a member of its Administrative Council.

He is married and a father of two children.

Graduated from the University of Thrace Law School and has been practicing law in Piraeus since February 1989, where he holds a law firm.

Dionysios P. Plessas is a lawyer registered with the Piraeus Bar Association, admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Greece (Areios Pagos) since 2020. He was first elected to the Association’s leadership in 1984 and has since served four terms; he is currently serving his fifth. He held the position of Treasurer for six years and was a candidate for President in the most recent elections. He has served as a Special Advisor to the Minister of the Interior during the tenure of the Ecumenical Government. Panagiotis Sapountzakis is a Supreme Court lawyer (admitted to practice before the Areios Pagos), with a primary focus on labor and trade union law. He has also served as legal advisor to leading trade union organizations. Currently, he acts as legal advisor, among others, to the Piraeus Labour Centre (E.K.P.), the COSCO dockworkers’ union, and the union of ship repair and metal workers. In the landmark criminal trial of the “Golden Dawn” (“Chrysi Avgi”) organization, which lasted over five years, he served as a civil action lawyer representing the victims. Maria Stamatogianni was born in Piraeus, where she lives to date. After graduating from the Hellenic-French School “Jeanne d’ Arc”, she studied law in the Faculty of Law of the Athens University, followed by post-graduate studies in the University of London in International Banking and Finance Law (LL.M King’s College 2003). She is fluent in English, French, German and Spanish. She is a graduate of the “Training Course in Taxation Law” of the Athens University of Economics and Business and a trained Mediator by the Piraeus Mediation Center.

She was admitted in the Piraeus Bar in 2000 and her expertise includes international shipping transactions, ship finance, corporate law, commercial and finance transactions. Since 2012 she acts as in-house counsel to a commercial group of companies. In 2004-2006 she was a member of the Board of the Trainee and Young Lawyers Association of Piraeus. Presently, she is elected in the Board of the Piraeus Bar since 2014, where she focuses on matters of taxation, social insurance, unlawful impersonation, immigration law, inhouse counseling and women lawyers. Athina Stamelakis is a Lawyer in the Supreme Court of Greece. He released his first novel in February 2014 entitled “The Silence Coming” and the second novel in October 2016 entitled “Provence”.
